I'm Bella Li (legal name Mi Li), a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) and the founder of Langille Immigration, based in Kingston, Nova Scotia.

I came to Canada through spousal sponsorship, so I know what it is to put your future into a set of forms. I run this practice on my own so that every client works with the person who reads their file.

Many applications are meant to be filed by the applicant, and I will say so before you pay for anything you do not need.
Plain answers, including the hard ones.
If something in your file is a problem, you hear it from me early, along with what can be done about it.
Only what is true.
I never help anyone tell IRCC something inaccurate. It protects your application and every one you make after it.
Everything in writing.
Advice comes by email, never by text or social media, so you always have a record.
Prices before you book.
Every session fee is on this site, and representation is quoted as a flat fee in writing.
HOW I WORK
Four things you can hold me to.
You'll hear back fast
I know what it's like to wait on an answer that your whole future seems to hang on: the checking, the re-checking, the wondering if your message even landed. So I just don't do that to people. When you write to me, you'll hear back from me, quickly, at every stage of your file. It's a small thing that turns out to be everything.
Meticulous, start to finish
Applications rarely fail on the big things. They fail on a small contradiction nobody caught: a date, a letter, a timeline that doesn't quite line up. So I read everything against everything, slowly, the way you'd want someone to if it were your life in the folder. A file isn't ready until I'd feel at peace submitting it as my own.
Accountable, in writing
My name and licence go on your file alongside yours, and I treat that the way it deserves. Your scope and fee are in writing before anything starts, you see your complete application before it goes anywhere, and if something's my responsibility, I'll tell you so and make it right. You should never have to wonder where you stand with the person representing you.
Your file isn't a file to me
It's your marriage, or your career, or the next ten years of your life, and I get to know it well enough that forgetting that isn't possible. I kept this practice small for exactly that reason: so every case on my desk belongs to someone I actually know. Caring for it properly stops being an effort. It's just what happens.
